Ideal Requirements for a Loan Officer
- Two
to five years general sales experience and can demonstrate how
that experience can transfer to mortgage origination
- Documented
track record of success in sales
- Commissioned
sales experience
- Well-versed
in consultative selling
- Open
to coaching and professional development
- Bachelor’s
degree
- Proven
ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a professional
setting, including superior computer skills
- Ability to meet state licensure standards: financial responsibility,
experience, character, general fitness, honesty and fairness, and
advantage to the community”.
